Our founder Jen, a fashion designer, artist and homeware enthusiast, created The Styled Sofa in response to her own challenge of trying to revive her tired but functional sofas and breathe new life into the family home.

New sofas were expensive and the idea of ‘landfill dumping’ didn’t sit comfortably with this chic earth conscious mother of three.

So Jen’s creative mindset to work …the ultimate goal was contemporary sofas that could be customised to meet changing seasons, trends and lifestyles.

Quickly it became clear that her existing Ikea sofas were part of an extensive IKEA range with contemporary lines and budget friendly price tags …. And from here The Styled Sofa came to life with a range of stylish, removable, washable, replaceable slipcovers.

Today Jen and the team at The Styled Sofa are proud to offer beautifully made slipcovers that support the notion of reviving rather than replacing. Custom made to order means no mass production and allows customers to add their personal aesthetic to an enduring IKEA product.

The Styled Sofa has curated a range of refined linen, lustrous but hard-wearing corduroy, soft velvet, and timeless twill in an extensive colour palette. All covers fit IKEA living room and dining room furniture models and come with a 3-year guarantee and quality assurance standards.
